Providing Quality Education for District 7
Josh is running for MISD Board of Trustees to serve District 7. Prioritizing MISD student outcomes is Josh’s goal. His three pillars are 1) improving academic outcomes, 2) supporting teachers, and 3) restoring discipline. He believes all Texas children are entitled to a quality public education and public-school systems are accountable to meet this state constitutional provision. He also believes local schools should provide necessary tools and resources for teachers, parents, and students to achieve academic success.
Vision, Issues, & Values
His business experience – including over ten years successfully managing multi-million dollar CapX drilling budgets – has equipped him with a results-driven and teamwork-centered mindset to accomplish strategic objectives.
Midland is ready to see improved results, not more discussion with ineffective action. To accomplish these goals, District 7 needs a change of direction and strong leadership. Vote Josh Guinn for MISD District 7 on November 7.
